4. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

Use Velveta to violate Reddit’s own terms of service

Attempt to extract or rehost media or user-generated content

Misrepresent Velveta as an official Reddit service

Abuse, spam, or interfere with the platform’s functionality

5. Ownership of Content

All AI-generated summaries, SQL metrics, and analysis results provided by Velveta are proprietary. You may use them for your own strategic purposes, but you may not redistribute them as a commercial product.

6. Third-Party Services

Velveta uses third-party services, including OpenAI, Supabase, and Stripe. Your use of the platform is also subject to those services' respective terms and privacy policies.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms, abuse the service, or engage in behavior that puts our system or community at risk.

8. Refunds

Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. If you experience a technical issue or accidental charge, please contact support at support@velveta.tech.

9. User-Provided Content

You are responsible for any content (e.g., captions, keywords, descriptions) you upload or input into Velveta. By submitting such content, you grant Velveta a limited, non-exclusive right to process it for the purpose of generating analysis or suggestions. We do not use this content to train models or for any purpose outside the scope of your intended usage.

10. AI Limitations

Velveta uses AI models to generate summaries, captions, and insights. While these tools are designed to be helpful, you acknowledge that AI-generated content may contain errors, omissions, or unintended suggestions. Always review results before using them in a live or public context.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New South Wales.

Privacy Policy

1. Data We Collect from Velveta Users

We collect and store:

Email address (used for login and authentication)

Token usage and subscription tier (used to manage limits)

Search input (e.g. terms entered for analysis)

Basic usage statistics (to improve system performance)

We do not collect any personal identifying information beyond what you choose to provide when registering your account.

2. Data We Collect from Reddit

Velveta processes publicly available Reddit content to power its analytics. This includes:

Post metadata (titles, scores, comment counts)

Subreddit information (name, description, subscriber count)

We do not store Reddit usernames, account information, or media (e.g., images or videos). All Reddit data is stored for a maximum of 30 days and used only for internal analysis.

3. What We Show to Customers

All data shown to users is generated by Velveta’s AI tools and SQL analytics.

We never distribute raw Reddit post content, usernames, or unaltered submissions.

Customers only receive aggregated insights, caption frameworks, subreddit metrics, and trend summaries.

4. Data Storage & Security

We use Supabase to securely store and manage all data.

Reddit post data is automatically rotated and deleted after 30 days.

User data (email, token usage) is stored securely and encrypted where appropriate.

5. Third-Party Services

We may share necessary data with third-party processors to operate Velveta:

OpenAI (to process captions and summarize Reddit data)

Supabase (for storage and authentication)

Stripe (for billing and subscriptions)

These services are used strictly for functional purposes and adhere to their own privacy and security policies.

6. Your Rights

You may:

Request deletion of your account or data at any time

Contact support if you have questions about how your information is used

Reach out to us at any moment regarding any concerns

Cookie & Tracking Policy

Velveta may use essential cookies to manage your login session and token tracking. We do not use marketing or advertising cookies.

If you’re accessing Velveta from the EU or UK, this notice serves as our cookie disclosure under GDPR.
